So, I'm currently in the sun in Barcelona. Sitting on a bench in a park enjoying the breeze coming from the hills. Sometimes, I'm jealous of myself.  
  I escaped rainy and slightly cold amsterdam for the warmth of spain. I can't say that I don't miss amsterdam already, but I do like the heat. It is a nice nice change. I'm in Barcelona for two days ( Read more... )

Hello all!
  Thought I should let everyone know that I'm still alive.
 I'm sitting in Ewa's place and we're having a girl's night dying hair and drinking wine! Can't go wrong with that. Nice to have a girls night among friends.

I think I have to go dye hair now.

Well, things are on a general rise here now. 
  The bugs are dying off slowly but surely, tomorrow is laundry day and on Saturday Casey comes. So things are settling down some. 
   I also have had my first very dutch experiences this week. I rode on the back of a bicycle for the first time on Monday and today I saw a workman wearing clogs!

AHH!!!
  As if the cockroaches weren't bad enough, now i have a mouse too. maybe this wouldn't bother me as much if my bed wasn't sitting on the floor. I could cry, I already don't sleep because I have the light on all night to keep the roaches at bay, but the light doesn't stop the mouse! Now what? Music too? I'm never going to sleep.
