Always Twirling, Twirling, Twirling!

Since the American public,(yes you guys too) have become a mass representation of The View, there is no point preaching to the choir or causing some some to furrow their brows in a vain attempt at thought to try to comprehend the last few years. Instead, lets instead look at the future. Let's not blind ourselves with hope or jealousy. This man is ( Read more... )

What I feel truly sorry for are the people who voted him in that wanted "a black president" without actually seeing what he stands for on issues of any kind. Sort of like the "I want a woman president!" band wagon when Hitlerly ran back during the primaries. I don't care who one votes for; just as long as they're voting for something more than skin color or gender. My guy lost. That I have to accept, but I cannot abide such ignorance if that was what got Obama elected. Just my two cents.

I'm not discounting your statement, but you are missing the point of mine. We could go back and forth about how Palin represents the same thing, and the fact that you chose to ignore that example shows the real intention of your post.

I understand your statement, good sir, and I did not choose to ignore Palin as a "woman" vote, either. She did not run for president, unlike Hillary, who did, so my statement on a woman president running would be in error if Palin was who I mentioned. That being said, I did not vote for Obama because I did not feel his policies and views on certain issues represented my beliefs in how the country should go. However, he will be the next CIC, and I shall respect the post, and who occupies it. Note that I was not hard on the man himself in my post; rather I was reflecting on ignorant voters judging him on his skin, for good or bad intentions. Also, in reviewing my grammer from my previous ( ... )

I would expect nothing less from you. You're one of the few Republican voters I know (and I don't know a lot) that votes based on issues and not on party affiliation. Please understand that type of reply to such a post implies such an intent. I'm glad to be wrong and as always respect where you are coming from. Whenever we choose to disagree I have never felt that you being a "crazy conservative".
