I wondered what type of response would be garnered by my last post. I really was hoping for quiet agreement. I voted for Obama, but I'm not going to stoop to the methods of people who turned a blind eye to Bush and not judge his actual performance. Now now, every single count and recount ended in a Bush victory for Florida, and the supreme court ruling that followed put an end to the silliness by simply reverting to the counting request made per Gore himself, which equaled a Bush victory still. Conspiracy theories followed ( ... )

The point was there were no doubts about Obama's victory. The losing side is not coming from a position of resentfulness from a feeling that their candidate didn't really lose. Of course people are already doing this, but the whole "now it's my turn" attitude is stupid. I refuse to continue with that. I'm not going to whine "Well Bush got to", but nor will I put up with those who used to say "Love or leave" and have switched to "He's going to ruin our country!".
Party affiliations don't make sense. That's a game whose winners don't include us. I'm glad you get it. Let's see what he does, there's no use arguing about ifs and whats.
