WRT54G3G-ST with Verizon EVDO (Kyocera) KPC-650 card !

ZOMG! it works !
so I'm trying not to pay Comcast for their exorbitantly  priced internet + cable service.
Since I am already paying for a Verizon EVDO service, I've entertained the idea about using it full time and ditch comcast.

After I moved to my current location, I decided to build my own EVDO router with my spare box, but alas, the hardware ( Read more... )

That's a very interesting solution, I may have to keep that in mind next time I get stuck with finding broadband service for a location with inadequate/no wiring.

Great to see that you had the KPC-650 running!
I just got a WRT54G3G-ST myself and the Kyocera doesn't seem to work out of the box. Which version of the firmware did you have? Was it the stock firmware or you had to install OpenWRT?
