Sequence of Events and Major Plot Decisions
After the betrayal at Ostagar the Grey Warden Aliena Cousland took the advice of Alistair and made her way to Redcliffe Village. Upon her arrival it was clear something was not right in the air and soon she was readying her party against an army of the undead. After a long battle she made her way into Redcliffe Castle where she found the source of the problems, young Connor who was possessed. Upon urging from those around her the Grey Warden agreed to find a way to free Connor without unnecessary deaths. With that she and her party left-
Only to be sidetracked by the Antivan assassin Zevran. Being a practical woman, Aliena spared Zevran's life and allowed him to travel by her side. It was only fitting that she gained an Elven party member before they found themselves wandering in the Brecilian Forest and invading the Dalish camp. It was there that they became involved in the troubles of the Dalish and the Werewolves. After a long, arduous path of fights that Grey Warden Cousland succeeded in turning the Werewolves human once more, killing Zathrian, and acquiring the help of the Dalish.
Upon much complaining from Alistair, Cousland returned upon her path, occasionally stopping for flirtations and talks within her own camp. Eventually she reached the Circle Tower where she helped save the mages and acquired a new comrade, Wynne.
The help of the circle in hand, Cousland et all returned to Redcliffe to send Morrigan into the Fade where she helped defeat the forces inside of Connor.
After a stop in the small town of Haven, the party continued on to destroy Caridin's anvil, help the Dwarven Lord Harrowmount take the throne, and acquire yet another comrade named Oghren.
With the promised help of the Dalish, Dwarves, and people of Redcliffe the Warden made her way to Denerim for the Landsmeet.
Zevran and the Warden
They have had their flirtations which started from the beginning of their meeting, yet Zevran knew it was not meant to go far. He could see the looks between the Grey Warden and Alistair. To her both he and Leliana were very good friends who she went to bed with once before Alistair, in his own bumbling way, came around. Then both Assassin and Bard stepped back to allow the romance to take its course.
Still, Zevran respects his Warden very highly and cares for her deeply. In his own way.
