So I just got of the phone with my dad after an hour long conversation or so, which is probably going to cost a grip of cash to pay for, and he just filled me in on all the bad shit that befalls him between our talks. If you needed to move to Yakima to help your dad out, everyone here would understand. That sucks more than anything that your dad is going through tough problems...and they are only getting worse.

If you are seriously thinking about moving up there...I'll help you. I'll give you money, support, drive you up there...do anything to help you and your dad out, man.

Did you talk to him about the ability to move into your place? I'm sure Vancouver has a better medical, and living assistance than Yakima. The climate is also a little more fitting to, what you say, his medical conditions.

I'm sorry to hear about the misfortunes of your father. I know how hard it is on someone to want to be able to make things better for someone else, but not having the nessicary means or ends of doing so. Just think that shit will eventually get better and it ain't your fault. Other than that, I'm glad to hear that you are doing pretty good and on the up and up. Fuck Shit Up, Jeff
