I've been staring at these amazing pictures: bookbindings. Bound (and bounded) books are beautiful. I want to do them, make them, be them. I'm going to start practicing; I need to learn knots and threading. Over Winter Break watch out. I have a photoalbum from 1980 that is tattered. It is without pictures and the paper is soft with perforations

i thought i replied to this but i guess it didnt post. yes i will indeed be back in the swing for a tucson spring. in fact, i think amber and i are tentativly planning some sort of reunion/holiday gathering in phonnix right when we both get back. your presence will certainly be requested. i have been working on some things that i think may be suitable for binding and it sounds like an exciting idea. if you dont have too many offers flying in just say the word and i will procure what i can.
