I don't even know where to start. I ordered some twenty books before I received my notification from Brown, thinking that I needed to write a new writing sample to reapply for schools. Now I have a ton of books (with more on the way!) and I'm not even sure where to begin. Here is the list

These are all academic criticism, but if you're into that, you might like it. :D

Ah, well, not sure. Largely depends on my mood. xD I don't read a lot at all, so it might be I never get around to these. But OH WELL.

If your focus is into post-colonialism and feminism, you should try out reading Linda Nochlin's Women, Art, and Power: And Other Essays. She writes about similar topics being addressed in art history. It's also her that pretty much spearheaded the feminist movement in art history with her essay, "Why No Great Women Artists?" It's a fairly quick read, and very interesting.
