I've had an emotionally draining weekend, complete with a drunken good time and a really sad "shock." Friday night was a great time, I showed some of my friends how to play texas hold 'em and had some laughs and drinks. All around it was a good time, great way to kick off the weekend. awww thats sad maybe a :hug: from a sweet girl will help....or maybe not.....hope you feel better....my grandpa passed away 2 weekends ago like weekend after school started 2nd weekend back....he was brain dead due to lack of oxygen in his brain for two weeks....I spent a week with him in the hospital until I had to fly back to Widener.....and the following weekend his blood pressure majorly fell and he stopped breathing through the machines....we knew he was dead from day 1 before he went to the hospital, but we had to let him keep breathing through machines until he stopped accepting the oxygen....that was sad...at least I spent the summer with him.....I am getting over that he is gone....to me it still seems he is with me...he is my closets and was the only grandparent left. As I see it just think about your cat he will always be with you....take care....hold in there....everything will be ok.....

We had to put our dog down last year. We had him for 18 years and it got to the point where he couldn't walk or see or do anything anymore. It sucked.

That's how it was with our cat, but she died overnight. I'm glad she's not in anymore pain.

*hugs* my dog sammy got put down over a year ago and i'm still not over it. everytime i go to mom's house i fully expect to see him jumping against the door like he used to do.

sometimes i still hear his nails clacking on the hardwood floors.

anytime. it really really sucks.

i have a obituary for sammy saved in my LJ memories. it helped a bit though i was sobbing towards the end.
