[ That didn't go at all the way I planned it... I should remember that I'm a damn horrible liar the next time I go trying to trick half the team.
I think, though... that I'm glad he called me out on it. I shouldn't have been lying to him in the first place, and this is probably better than it ever would have worked out otherwise. Even if it's only on a trial basis, that's okay, right? ♥ It doesn't have to be serious... I'm not sure I want it to be. We can keep things low-pressure, and if they work out, we'll go from there. If they don't... well... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I'd rather not think about it right now, anyway.
At least the charade's over. I didn't realize how tense I was until tonight. These last few weeks must've been more stressful than I thought. Serves me right for winding myself up; I'll have to take a trip to the spa on Monday.
In the meantime, I'm going to relax, for God's sake, and enjoy the holidays. I refuse to take anything seriously until next Tuesday. ♥ ]
