So very very true... and why? I feel like our sense of taste should have evolved to make us more inclined to eat things that are best for our healthy survival and propogation of our species, but instead our taste buds make us want to eat food that kills us with heart attacks at age 30 and makes us so morbidly obese that no member of the opposite sex (or same sex) would ever want to touch us. It doesn't make any damn sense.

I would also like to point out that I post this as I sit down to a meal consisting of 90% fat and sodium. DELICIOUS.

I used to think that too but basically we evolved eating buffalo meat and fruits and berries. We're just not used to having to manage a "diet"...as far as evolution is concerned. I don't know exactly why we love things that we didn't really eat while evolving all those years but I'm sure there's some explanation. I mean...no one even really ate sugar ever until the modern era.
