oh baby i'm sleepy. i'v;e been stressing over this stupid paper for psych and law. it drives me crazy that i have to be an expert witness. i find myself advising more like lawyer and not like psychologist, which i think i'm supposed to do. the outline was TRES vague. and its worth 40%. i've been working on this motherfuck for a few days now. it ( Read more... )

If it makes you feel better, I've reinvigorated my battle against future shop (I don't know if it's still a battle if the other side doesn't know i'm fighting), and have FINALLY gotten some emails back from government consumer protection groups.

I've got them by the balls now....

And whats this court thing?

What'd Futureshop do to you? I've almost never had a good experience dealing with salespeople in there (I'm sure it'd be different if I'd ever dealt with Aid or Melissa). Best Buy has a bunch of stupid people working there too, which makes sense because they're under the same company now.

Future shop didn't do anythign to me, per se. They sold me a digital camera memory card full of pictures from the previous owner. And they sold it to me as new. From the pictures I was able to easily figure out where this girl (who's name I now know) works (who's job I can easily visit), what she looks like (She's about 16-18), and what kind of things she does for fun (her friends, rock climbing.) I've mentioned it in my own blog before, but haven't resolved much. I haven't been able to decide if iI should A) find and tell her, B) just try to get future shop to do sometihng about it, or C) have another agency do something about it.

Wow, that's kinda creepy... If I ever returned anything like that I'd be sure to format the card first though.
