Until recently I never quite was much of a complainer about low pay, not realizing how low low really was. But then I started planning post-school life, and I agree. You're worth more than 7 dollars a fucking hour, and you should tell them as much. If by no other way than finding another job. There's a lot of opportunities, and fortune favours the bold.

well, i'm freed up next april for a real job search anyways. so i don't care much what i do while in school. as long as they're flexable :)

*shudder* You could *shudder* work at one of the many call centers that are around. Starting rate at Convergys is $9.25/hour ($8.25/hour during training), TeleTech is $9.50/hour, and not sure what Minacs is. I know Convergys is hiring right now, and I'm pretty sure the other 2 would be as any large sized call center has a high turnover rate.
