Ruminations on Working From Home

Had a wonderful dinner at Harvest this evening with an equally wonderful someone. It had been some time since I had been there last and it was surprisingly well populated for a Monday evening.

I am now watching "The 8th Plague" via Netflix streaming.

as you know some parts of my job are like that. it is a good way to have a child in some ways .. except that it can so easily turn into "having the freedom to work all the time" instead of "having the freedom to set your own schedule". I need to designate totally work-free family time (and will need to do this more as C gets older).

Yeah, that is the risk you run...at this point, I'm OK with that as I am able to designate work-free times when necessary, but it also lets me get huge amounts of work done when time is of the essence while at the same time being able to do other stuff, walk the dog, etc.

I'll take it while it lasts!
