Does anyone else feel totally cheated by the Oscars?
Not only did I think it was excruciatingly boring (and long!), I totally thought "Brokeback Mountain" was cheated out of the Best Picture win. In all fairness though, I still haven't seen "Crash." But still!

P.s. I want Reese Witherspoon to star in EVERYTHING.

well, in all honesty, i have to say your comment makes me feel a little better. since i haven't seen "crash," i guess it is a bit unfair for me to judge.

until i do see it, i'll take your word for it and assume it was a good movie.

also, i have to admit, i really didn't think "brokeback mountain" was all that great of a movie. i mean, sure, it was beautiful and touching, but i think it just had more shock value than true content. in any instance, i was clearly rooting for it.

eh, i'll get over it. :)

i completely agree with you on reese and brokeback, but i thought this year's ceremony was actually the most enjoyableit's been in a while.

SOME people would put a space between enoyable and it's. i obviously would not.

really? i totally think they're getting progressively worse.

they need to make the ceremony two hours long, at most. maybe more people would watch it if they didn't have to dedicate AN ENTIRE evening to it.

YES! All i heard all morning was "...at least the fag movie didn't win." Funny, they couldn't remember what did win, and didn't even watch the show, but all the conversation centered around the hetero pride that at least a gay movie didn't win.

i did like the song from the movie "Crash" and nearly fell outta my chair when the silly "Pimp" song won. The opening was funny, with past hosts refusing to host this year, but it quickly fell apart after that and ended with a loud thud!

i havent seen brokeback or crash.... but i was glad that brokeback took home some oscars.... also reese looked absolutely stunning in that gown!
