I'd love to visit New York. Is CBGB's closed now? What about L'Amour's? I wish I was there back in the day(at CBGB's), to have seen first The Talking Heads, Blondie and Television and then Agnostic Front, Warzone and Cro-mags. Must have been amazing...

yeh i saw cbgbs. It aint closed. I think it's saved. But ive heard that it's STILL closing soon so i dunno!

It's in such a yuppie area now. Of course it used to be more dirty and dangerous in that area back in the day.

It's metal club, where thrash bands like Carnivore and Nuclear Assault used to play. Pretty decent from what I've heard of it. I'll have to find out if it's still around. If so, it's probably under a different name with tendy metalcore bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Poison the Well headlining. Ugh.
