Has NO ONE read the GoT Books but me?

HAS NO ONE READ THE GAME OF THRONES BOOKS?!

WTF is wrong with everyone?! (Kids are semi-valid excuses, but not entirely acceptable if you read AT ALL)

I am the ONLY ONE I know who has read them all (or past the first one). Most twice & the last one I got the day before it was released.

They are everything good (bad) fantasy should be: murder, gore, ( Read more... )

I've read them. I'm behind on season 3 b/c the DH hasn't seen season 2 (we were living in different countries at the time) and don't have him caught up. But I've read all the books.

*freaks out* would you at all be adverse to discussing this that will happen in S3? I mean you know they're going to happen and I will attempt to not give details about how they depict things I am just freaking about about the TWO HUGE THINGS that are going to happen.

We're watching them as they air on the W. Coast (so later) but still as they air. I am getting an ulcer every Sunday trying to keep my trap shut about the huge shit but as we have 3 eps to go (tho 4 weeks because of Memorial Day? Labour day? I don't know) it's getting up to the BIG SHIT point.

If you want send me an email that would be cool. subgirl@gmail.com

(I mentioned I whacked my FB FL down, I am trying to leave it entirely. There are literally 4 people on that list of 21 that I really care about yet whom refuse to go elsewhere so I keep it there to check in with them about once a week. The rest are people who I have no other way to connect to and would like to be aware if they die or get married or something or it was impossible to find them initially and I'm afraid ( ... )

I have reasons. I have no time. I have goats. And rabbits. And kids. And Autism Girl who broke a window with her fist in a tantrum this weekend. And planting. And barn building.

If you have ebooks of the books lying around, any format whatsoever thank you Calibre, the first one at least, I can give it a test run in the few minutes before I crash into sleep at night. I'm on the next-to-last book in the Lensman series, haven't read it in years and loving how much of the hidden hard science I missed the first time around because it was written in 1950's science language.

Hugs, hope you quit feeling like shit sooner than soonest.

Heh the kids (of various species) comment was made with you in mind, actually. ;) I didn't know/expect you to have time to read at all with everything else you have going on. (Ugh -_- about the window! I put my foot through one at about that age, but it was my sister's friend's fault. She had ahold of one leg & was tickling me & I am VIOLENT when tickled -I have kicked people in faces/groins/etc.- as I kicked out with the free leg and it went through the window nearby. I have wilfully put my fists/feet through walls and doors though. The room in Jenks still bears the scars of my adolescence, as do many phones and alarm clocks. I sacrificed quite a few alarm clocks to the angry gods in my day.)

I am fairly certain I have them as ebooks. I know I have the last one for certain if nothing else. But I am pretty sure I have the rest. I can't guarantee the quality of those tho. The latest I bought legitimately for kindle since the book, when first released, was well over 6lbs. & I already had a sprained wrist & couldn't hold it, so I had to ( ... )

OMG YES about the last book! I was like "ugh shut UP about all the other crap! I just want to read about Arya!!"

Though the Tyrion stuff was crazy (especially since they got to the part Sunday where he snidely says what would he do over there. LOL!!)

Oh well and Theon. I totally didn't remember him AT ALL until I got to that part of the last book. That was the part that had me wiki-ing so much.

It was hard to read the last one for me because it had been SO LONG since I had read the other four & book 4 kind of was tedious when I read it because I think it was during a bad medication time.

But OMFG THE WEDDINGS OMG!!!! This is what I want to freak out about to someone I won't be ruining it for.

I mean. I did tell Kyle (he doesn't read my LJ) during the first season of the show when Ned Stark gets beheaded that everyone dies but it's been awhile and I don't think he really believes me that everyone really really dies LOL.

I'm so glad you read them! I plan to reread them when I get them unpacked (no laughing! I know we moved in June! And no we' ( ... )
