finally an update
We've been pretty busy around here.
Let's see what's been going on with us...
We ordered Baby L's bedding. He will be sleeping on this
We plan on painting his room blue and green, color matched to the bedding, with a chair rail between the two colors. I'm thinking blue on the top, green on the bottom.
Kaylin started ballet/tap classes. She absolutely LOVES it. She has asked me every day since the class if it's time to go again. I have to keep telling her "No, you only go 1 day a week."
We've been planning her birthday party for next month. How exactly is my baby already turning 4? FOUR YEARS OLD?! How the hell did that happen? We're having the party here with a bounce house. A castle bounce house. She wants to have the Disney Princess theme.
We booked our trip to Iowa for Jeremy's Opa's 80th birthday. It's a good thing his birthday falls when it does because the week we fly home is the last week the Dr. would approve flying for me.
Then after we return from that trip, the first weekend in November is Jeremy's company party. It's at the Hyatt Regency Reunion, which I'm excited about. What I'm not excited about is finding a nice dress to fit my 7 months pregnant butt. I'm okay with buying the dresses normally, because I can wear them again in a few years at another company party. But, this dress, I'll never be able to wear again!
The hotel we stayed at on our wedding night is running a holiday special with rooms about $100 cheaper than normal. So, I think we're going to book a room for 2 nights for a weekend away before the baby is born. A babymoon. We have to book the room by Sept. 4th to get the special rate. So, I think that we are going to take advantage of that. Probably in late November.
My gosh! We'll be busy until this baby is born!
Oh, and 3 out of the 4 of us will be in Matt & Chera's wedding in March. I'm a bridesmaid, Jeremy is a groomsman and Kaylin will be a flower girl. Baby L will stay home with my parents. Here's hoping I don't look too fat in my bridesmaid's dress since I'll only have had a baby about 2 months before!
Also, considering going back to school. I'll have to write about that later, as I need to hop in the shower with Kaylin and get us both ready to go over to Matt's for dinner, beer (for them), hanging out and attempting to move the files from my old hard drive to this one. Yes, 1 year later and we still haven't done that!
