bed rest for me

Well, I've been placed on modified bed rest. I have to stay in bed or sitting, with my feet up, for the majority of the day. No housework, no shopping, nothing that will have me on my feet for an extended period of time. And we thought pelvic rest sucked! I've been trying to get Jeremy to network my laptop and so far he hasn't done it yet. *evil

*hugs* Hope the bedrest helps. It's awesome that your mom is able to help so much. Thank God for family! That Dinner Station thing is cool. I love all the names y'all have picked out, but I think Hunter is my favorite. That's at the top of our boy name list. =o)

Thank God for family, indeed! My mom uses The Dinner Station and really likes them, so I hope we do too, especially since Jeremy is a picky eater. Boy names has always been a big obstacle for us. This would have been much easier if this baby had been another girl!

Hunter is my favorite. I hope you do well with your bedrest and your placenta won't be stubborn and it moves, so you won't have to stay in bed...it must be very boring. Thank God for Family! ♥

I never thought I would complain about having to lounge around! It's just that it gets so boring after awhile and it's hard to just sit/lay still when I know there is so much that needs to be done.

You poor thing, I hope the bedrest helps. I know how much waiting sucks, especially when you can't do anything.

I don't know if Brandon Lee is a great name just because I'd worry about naming my baby after someone who died so young & tragically. Then again, I'm paranoid. I like Connor a lot especially because then you'd have Connor and Kaylin with matching consonant sounds.

That's why I'm not sure about Brandon. That's actually who Jeremy wants to name him after, too. Bruce Lee is Jeremy's idol but I told him there was no way we were naming our child Bruce. I completely understand what you are saying though. I think it's just growing on me because Jeremy has been drilling it into my head for over 6 years now that his son's name would be Brandon Lee. I'm glad you think the same thing I do about Connor and Kaylin together! I love the way they sound together.

wow, you have an awesome family. I am glad that they are there and understand and are willing to help you out while you are on bedrest. Wish i had that !

I feel for you, really. I know how much bedrest sucks... but i cannot imagine being on it while having a 4 year old. I'm lucky I wasn't on it with Adam.

I really wonder if bed rest really works. Everyone I know who was put on bed rest during their pregnancies, still had complications, or had to give birth premature.

I've only taken like 2 pictures of my belly this time. I should really take more...but Jeremy takes crappy ones and it's hard for me to find a spot that's the right height to set the camera on self timer.
