Just in case anybody was wondering if a black hole swallowed me up, the answer is yes.  Yes, one did.  It was a huge, gaping, monstrous creature with fathomless depths, innards full of darkness, and a stomach like the void.  The story of how I escaped is a long, gruesome tale, not suitable for the light of heart, the light of stomach, or - if I may ( Read more... )

*has seemingly been swallowed and then regurgitated by the same black hole but probably escaped in a slightly less gruesome manner*

Come to Nottingham if you have time~ I'll most likely be at my flat up there (you guys can mooch off me up there too, I will (hopefully) have my own flat in the city centre~) in the time you're here, but I can also try to run down to London if it is more convenient for you! *w*

That could be groovy; free room and board is always attractive. :DDD And you know Kat, which saves us some awkwardness. :D
I'm just fretting over coach fares. (And time. It kills me that it takes 3 hours to travel by bus a distance that would take me 1 hour with my car. @__@) But I don't know. Nottingham does have a bit of appeal for a geeky tourist such as myself...

Indeed, free lodgings = yay 8D That is, if you don't mind either squishing on the bed or onto the sofa in the living room. xD; And yus~ It has been a long time since I've seen her too! T^T

Coach fares... if you buy funfare discount tickets like... about a week in advance, a return to London I know is about 15poundsish, since I make the journey myself a lot. xD; And alas, yes... it takes a retarded amount of time to travel up to Nottingham, though, even with a normal car, it still takes 2hours ish cos... well, it IS kinda far from London and the SE. >: If not Nottingham, I'll def be back in London for the weekend of the 25th and 26th Oct, since there is a con, so perhaps I can catch you then? *w*

Hallo and welcome back!

(Whoops, wrong account)

Expand your horizons, come to Wales! (Or as near as you dare.)

Wales makes me think of sheep. :o And . . . not much else. XD
Although I suppose you must have some nice castles...

It generally does remind all people of sheep, which is funny, 'cause shouldn't it be more like Australia and New Zealand?

Besides, it pleases me you'd say that, as we're English (Me Nan'll kill me for that). It's more the fact that we're a border county which makes me say that.

Ye Olde Taunton, Somerset, but I'll be wreaking havoc on London for a few days, plus other as-yet-undecided daytrips around the country. :o
