I watched a '60 Minutes' special last night and it was rather interesting. Apparently, there are vast oil fields up in Alberta, that are untapped. Well, sorta. *shakes head* I'm part of a military family and sometimes when gas is so expensive around here, my parents drive up to the military base to get gas there because it's sometimes cheaper and they charge NO tax at all. The cheapest, here in Vegas, is $2.35, just on the base! It's at least a 20 more cents off the base.

Lucky there then! I live around DC and at one point it was $6.05. Now it's around $3.50. So gas is cheaper out there then?

Well some suspect the Iraq War to be a result of gaining access to Oil. (Including myself)

But I doubt attacking a country so near is something Bush would do. xD, it's very dangerous to his own country's security not to mention that the Candians can counter attack, and even if they may not be able to win... They could inflict some amount of Damage on US Citizens. So I don't think you need to worry too much =)

Oh, I do too!!! A friend of mine is over there serving right now, and he thinks the same reason.

Yeah, hehe but our psycho pres...never know who he'll strike next :) I don't think the candians could really hurt us too much, I think we could send some cops over there and we'd take it. But, it's a safe country to live in, unlike here.
