Isn't it funny what we allow people to see, what part of ourselves we broadcast to the world? If others were able to see you in full light, ala Truman Show, with all the close ups and all the missed moments, all the private minutes we believe we have......what would they see ( Read more... )

I think you're right. Although I'm glad we only see each other in glimpses. The people who have peeled off some of my layers tend to not like what they find it seems. They tend to pull away or something.

I would hate it if I was on something like the Truman Show. I would DIE!

of course no one wants to know the realtruth behind everyone. we always fear what we get will be less then what we thought, coming up short in a barrage of moderate expectations that seems should be met.

im thinking that there is no one who wants every part of their lives to be shown to the world. because people want to feel like they have something to show you, to tell you, to experience with you. if everyone already knows everything you have done your entire life, why would they want to interact with you?

i have a feeling that such a discovery of the realtruth behind everyone would be one of the most enriching, destroying and anticlimatic things this world has ever seen.

the mystery of ourselves is only the greatest and most unpenetrated mystery that we have.
