theres a difference between protesting his election and presidency and protesting his policies.
people who do the former are idiots who don't understand democracy. People who do the latter are simply excersizing their right to participate in that democracy, even post-election. After all, America is always a democracy (actually a republic, but i won't get into semantics), not just every 4 years.
cat!! i'm going to washington for the inaguration too!!!!! alfred's sending a few vans down. maybe i'll see you! but yeah, i really hope that people understand the distinction of protesting bush's election vs. protesting his policy and letting him know we think he's a dumbass who has a lot that he needs to fix. i told my parents i was going in an email a few days ago, and i haven't heard back :)
