The Aussie version, since my partner purchased it from a local store. I haven't looked up the differences yet (I should), but if it's just names of drugs and suchlike, I couldn't care less. :-7
To follow up on this - having just donea bit of googling on the topic, it seems that as far as I can see, there is no "cut down aussie version" of Fallout 3, since the censor-requested changes were added to the worldwide release rather than just the Aussie one. And before one gets too upset about that, as far as I can determine, the sole change that was made to the game was that the drug previously called "morphine" in the game was renamed "Med-X".
Yup, that's all. Personally, I think that's an *improvement*. To me, enountering morphine among all the fictional fantasy drugs that turn up in F3 would have been rather jarring and broken the suspension of disbelief. Med-X fits in well with other fictional drugs in the game like Rad-X and Jet, and works for me just fine.
In a "have to be pried away from the keyboard in order to eat and sleep" sort of way. :-) I haven't enjoyed a game this much since my very first FPS, Half Life. (I'm enjoying the periodic crashes less - it's the most crash-prone game I've ever played. The fact that I'm enjoying it this much *despite* the crashes is... impressive!)
