When people meet me, and find out I'm a pro sub, why is their first question always, "So how much do you make?" Weren't they taught that that's an extremely rude question? Lately when I decline to answer, the questioner has gotten offended and starts acting all huffy and bitchy! WTF

I don't think I asked what you make, did I? I agree that asking for specifics can be rude, though I think if someone asked what I make, on hearing what I do, I'd figure they just wanted a ballpark figure for comparison and that's what I'd give them. If I did ask, it was in that spirit. I have a really bad memory.
