Every relationship has complications. Add BDSM & Poly into the mix and it becomes a whole new ballgame. (Sort of.) You just work on being true to yourself and you'll be ahead of the game, kiddo!

Welcome to the group. I think any kind of relationship has its complications and curveballs. Regardless of what type it is. Including Friendship. But this is a supportive community. So you're in the right place :)
