Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life

My dad passed away on the morning May 3rd, at home, at about 5:45 am, at age 65. Thankfully, I had changed my plans so that I would come in Saturday night rather than Monday night. Thank you, Bruce. You are a dear person.

I loved the picture of your visitor and you, sitting elegantly on the settee.

She's one classy lady and a good friend for you!

Have you been to Mt. Auburn Cemetery? Do you like cemeteries? It's a beautiful place full of plants and trees from all over the world, and a favorite of bird-watchers.

having been through that, and it sounds so very similar, i know your presence there is going to hold you through the mourning.
it's not an easy thing to experience, but i'm glad you got to say your goodbye in person, and certainly that brought your dad some peace, too.

((hugs))

I know you have, and it's especially good to hear from those who have experienced this. I almost didn't go early. 48 hours made all the difference in the world. Hugs to you, too.

I'm so sorry. I am very glad that you were able to be with him. I wish I could have been with my Dad when he passed, but some things are just not meant to be. Remember all the good times and smile. That's what I've learned to do.

Where have I been? Well, to make a very long story short, we had a lot of family problems, my husband lost his job, we had no money and I was just really depressed. Life is a lot better these days and I was able to get back online. I've been back posting a few days and it feels really good!
