I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach. It turns out my dad's cancer is based in his pancreas. That's the news I was hoping NOT to hear. It doesn't seem like people with pancreatic cancer tend to live long. He also said that when he starts the chemo, it is not likely to shrink the tumor, which has grown to the size of an orange in only two

oh dear. that is very scary. and yes, he *is* too young. it is great that his attitude is positive, that makes a lot of difference, i think.. i'm glad you can go out there. i will wish for magic and health.
