Waiting for Aaron to get the blankets out of the packs, I go over when he motions, then carefully sit beside him, dropping the chain into a pile next to me. My head's spinning, my skin burning and my fever spiked, and I could just pass out right now, but I wait to see what he wants to do here. How we're going to cover from the wind and sand.

*Digging in one pack, I pull out a bottle of water.* Here, you should drink some water. *Handing the bottle to Elijah, I unfold the blankets while he drinks.*

*I scoot very close to Elijah and drape a blanket over his head.* Now raise up a bit, and sit on the bottom edge to keep it from blowing up. We can use the chain to hold the bottom down, too. *I help him arrange himself and the chain, then drape a blanket over myself and do the same. Then, overlapping our blankets over our heads, I make sure I can hold them apart in places to keep us from feeling too suffocated.*

You can um... you can lean on me. And sleep.
