Carrying an armload of boxes, I nearly drop half of them as I open the door. It's been hard not saying anything to Chris about his birthday, but I wanted to surprise him. Setting the neatly wrapped boxes down on the coffe table, I wait for you to appear.

After I hear the door close, I finish washing my hands and go into the other room, trying not to think about too much. Then I notice the boxes on the table and the fact that they're wrapped and I look up at you. "Hi... What are those for?" I can't help hoping they're for me, but I don't know for sure.

Grinning, I wrap my arms around your waist and lift you up for a slow kiss. "Who are they for? Oh..me." Laughing I set you down and smack your ass, "Happy Birthday, Kitten."

I grin and kiss you back, wrapping my arms around your shoulders for a hug. "Thank you, teddy bear. I wasn't sure if you knew or not." And this has totally made my day.
