Many days pass without true knowledge of what is to be expected and what is to come. And with truly each passing day, the acts of our enemy become even more unpredictable.
My own time thus becomes limited, to have access to this network where too many secrets can be seen with but a clever mind and hand. I watch as my Lord struggles, and feel incompetent in comparison to those who can provide him with the aid he needs...
But perhaps... this isn't so bad. At the very least, we now know how to keep in touch, provided no one comes under suspicion of us communicating in a manner outside of these devices.
These little contraptions are far more significant, it seems. I have seen them on many a person around here... and it was wise to purchase them. The best ones however, come under the guise of a watch, though they lack the easier use of text-sending capabilities. But good enough... the ones we found seem to be doing their job well so far.
Perhaps they stand out a little on one's wrist, but they do have a good use of being able to convert sound to text provided nothing is muffling the microphone. Which is rather hard to locate, considerably enough.
But the other kind, for more professional appearance, and easy use of a larger keypad for entering numerals and letters, are now in our possession as well... it would not hurt to have both should one be out of access.
They are a both of a rather handy design which can be concealed easily. Apparently they are waterproof and shockproof, which makes this all the better.
In any case, I believe we have hit upon a wise investment, regardless of cost. To think telephones would become so compact...
Lord Cain seems to be indulging nicely with his own. Now that we know how to set levels of discretion with sound, and the use of what are called 'external ear pieces', perhaps communicating privately will actually feel more private.

Though I do believe Miss Merry could use one herself. This design was rather adorable. I wonder...

It takes a bit too long for one to communicate
using a complete sentence and word formation. Perhaps we should
use contractions for a quicker method of communication, in the
event of an emergency?

Technology is truly interesting. I say, can anyone guide us further on the use of these communicators referred to as 'cell phones'?
The manual uses some rather technical terms I would not wish to confuse.
Things are certainly looking busier, aren't they? I do wonder how the others are doing... I apologize for not keeping myself as present on the network as many others.
