I'm not even going to look through my old posts. I feel like I've come home to pick through a long deserted attic. Everything I owned's all boxed up and I don't have to open a thing to know it's all dated and vaguely embarrassing, like Beanie Babies and troll dolls, like last decade's lightest pop music, like being just out of my teenage years and

So many long-departed RFFers ... and I must sadly confess that I've not even thought about you in quite a long time, in spite of you being on my pathetically small Friends List. (And that's *LJ* Friends, which count so much more than the cheap and overly-plentiful Friends at that Other Site.) So glad you posted, to kick my addled brain and remind me that there are still even more good people around and about out there than I tend to realize. I do still check in with LJ daily, or nearly so, so I would encourage you to post more in the weeks and months to come. Or not. Up to you, 'cos heh, it's your LJ!
So, what HAVE you been up to, Tari?

Me, I've got all the degrees I'm going to bother with and am working information strategy for big corporate (this is me talking myself up; in practice, it's not always much of a job). Been haphazardly self-publishing on the side. Hard to motivate myself sometimes. Getting married, somehow! How are you?

And, MARRIED?!!!? That makes ... well, yet another RFFer, after Snitter and Tsar and erfie and Shy and JM (he's engaged, but it'll happen). Hope you found your true match, or that your true match found you, however it came about, and that you're both very very happy. And as for getting self-published, got any links? I'd love to see what you've been up to, literary-wise.
(As for me, I'm still writing Redall fanfics. Need I say more? :P )

Thank you for the good wishes! He's terribly nice and funny, at least.
I've actually got a novella up for free at the moment, for a couple of days: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00P59UBHS
What/where's your fanfic?

I never write anymore. But I bet I'm one of the few people who continues to check LJ every single day. Sometimes I ponder picking it back up. But then I don't.
Time, audience, etc. IDK. I always liked this better than anything else, though.

I think small time blogging is basically dead; there was a point where my WoW blog would regularly get dozens of comments on each post and now I'm really lucky if I get one. The death of Google Reader certainly did not help. Now I write clickbait for money, because I have no soul and have to pay rent. Fun times. How have you been, though?

I don't do great at microblogging like Facebook and Twitter, but I do keep a steady tumblr (with typically too-long posts). I'm working corporate, getting married, and writing nonsense on the side, I suppose.

Congrats on the getting married thing! I'm getting married, too, at some point, once immigration and visas stop being dumb.
