That part totally cracked me up too!! And THE HUG! YESSS!!!!

This whole thing was awesome!! Though Oliver did miss one key wingman duty--making sure Sam switched shirts before riding off to supervise executing that search warrant. ;)

Ya know...that is very true. Sam could not have gone out with a shirt in that condition - good thing he still has his uniform in his locker (although it's a little baggy) so he went to serve the warrant in that. And McNally saw him walking out of the locker room in it too...made her have some hot flashes. Let's face it, the man can rock out the polyester/wool blends.

(Although it seems perfectly acceptable for him to look like he hasn't shaved in four days and has a massive hangover? Yeah, no. Best would have told him to go and get a shave and a shower, but I digress...)

Writing hugs is not easy, but...I think we have all imagined it - and it is NOT a "oh, you just shot someone, let me give you a brotherly hug" hug. Hope I did it justice.

Do you have any idea how much I love Oliver? He is like chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a homemade waffle cone awesome.

Filling the Andy Shaped Hole in His Heart

I still love that line… ‘what if you are my happy ending.’

I am beyond grateful he doesn’t have to fight in anymore too. It drives me crazy that he is.

He takes on the warmth and light of her - I totally and completely agree that that is what Andy is…and that is what he needs in his life.

LOVE Oliver…I thought she had strangled you…tee hee. And I love how Traci had her back - straightened her belt for her.

Sam stands in his place for a moment, attempting to stuff his McNally feelings into the large compartment reserved for her in his heart. (The Andy shaped hole that has been filled ;)

“Hey, Sam!” Nash calls to him from down the hall, her own bag in her hand, ready to go home to her mom and her son and her empty bed. Wow…that just hit me right in the heart - the empty bed …three little words that spoke volumes.

I love that Traci brought Sam up to speed. But even more I love that he resolved to chase after her before he knew she was there. And the fact that she was there!!
