Dream Effects: [optional] Adrenaline/Excitement, Anger, Apprehension then a sort of warm happiness afterward [costume swaps also available from both fandoms]
"Understood. I'll finish as soon as possible, My Lord"
Oz's voice is firm and almost authoritative as he speaks, gloved fingers pressing and smoothing along buttons and all types of controls. The view comes from inside of what looks to be some type of mecha, the screen in view flashing and lighting up with explosions as other machines - called Knightmares - cease functioning once a part of them is slashed in half.
The view shifts and moves as this Knightmare; the
Lancelot, flies and soars through the air elegantly, eliminating any opponents belonging to the rebel group, the Black Knights. He's to find the man named Zero and eliminate him. He used to be his friend once... but after everything that had happened, things had changed and he could never go back to how it had been.
No matter how much searching is done though, the man eludes him every time with clever words and using his pawns before stepping out to fight himself. With this in mind, him as well as the other Knights of the Round are called back for now. If only to regroup and try to see if there was any way to get closer to Zero before he has time to plan anything else out; though that's easier said than done and he knows it.
Oz knew how the man was and it didn't seem like it was going to change so easily.
A sigh escapes his lips once he's back on the ground, Lloyd happily informing him that they were able to save some data from the battles he had fought as he withdraws the key to Lancelot, opening up the hatch to the cockpit and lowering himself down to the ground. It's quiet here; give or take the sounds of other Knights disembarking and a happy voice sounding in the background, trying to gain his attention but he had other things on his mind so he simply sighed and continued forward, green eyes narrowed and clouded with painful thoughts.
No sooner does he exit that area does a kind, soft voice speak his name and a glance over reveals it to be Nunnally. She's wearing a gentle smile with her attendant at her side, who looks less than disapproving of being in a place like this. In an instant, Oz's expression softens and he smiles softly, all severity of the battle before, now gone and replaced with something more calm and happy. "It's nice to see you, Nunnally. What brings you here?" All politeness still lingered even as he did this, bowing slightly to her out of courtesy.
"I wanted to see you after your mission, Oz. Thank goodness I arrived in time" Her voice is gentle to match the smile on her face. With a simple few words, they're allowed to be alone and they soon move to a room away from all of the noise of the Knightmares and everything else that had been there before. "How did your mission go?" She wasn't yet aware of what the mission's intent had been and that was fine with him as he didn't want to make her worry. Being the viceroy, he really didn't want anything else on her mind than was already there.
Though she was strong and he knew she could handle it, he didn't want to risk it.
"It went well. I mean.... for the most part we were able to gain some new data on some newer knightmare models. Lloyd seemed more excited about it rather than anything else." A sheepish laugh followed that and Oz looked away briefly, pausing when her hand moved to grasp his lightly, Nunnally's head turned upward in his direction despite she herself couldn't see. "I'm glad. Everything's not becoming too overwhelming for you, is it?" A pause simply lingered after that before he sighed softly, his hand grasping hers back in return. "A little. I'm still adjusting but it isn't anything I can't handle." Oz nodded in assurance, her smile showing she believed him; she was the only person he seemed like he could be almost entirely honest with and let down all of those icy walls he had built up since becoming the Knight of Seven.
Even if he no longer was friends with her brother... he would always be there to protect her and make her safe as she was still someone who meant a lot to him. Not as the Viceroy of Britannia but as noone else other than Nunnally.
[The feed faded out on the two of them talking to one another, and that's followed by the sound of Oz yawning as he sits up, clearly confused to what he'd just dreamt and yet he can't stop the smile that's showing on his lips as soon as he finds the dreamberry where it had been lying nearby. It was a pleasant dream - if not something pretty incredible - for him and he didn't mind that much that it had been broadcast to everyone.
Even in this light, it's clear to see he's now dressed in the very regal
outfit, down to the deep, royal blue and gold cloak, gloved fingers coming to touch the golden design on the cloak lightly.
Amazement soon shows on Oz's face and he can't help but smile broadly as he takes note of his whole outfit.]
