Don't be sorry to me....sharalyticalDecember 23 2008, 01:08:19 UTC
Regardless of what happens or will, you are both still an example. A few questions though... Why a discontinuty for 1.5 years? Would you be ok with a break during that time? Does it bug you at all when he said that("see you coming with me") and would you guys stay together if you guys went to different places? Is something missing? If so, what? Just curious you don't have to answer, I'm just wondering.

The discontinuity is mostly because I'm strange... ha ha. Seriously. When little I made up a bunch of random rules and that's one. It holds two purposes. 1)So there isn't any of that constant break-up and make-up that is so common with teenagers. 2)If there was a break-up, other than because people are heading to two separate places (literally), it means there was a problem. A year and a half seemed long enough for situations/people to have changed.
I am okay with us breaking up when we graduate. It'll make me sad... you kinda get used to having a constant companion and good friend at your side, but we each have our own goals and whatnot. I wouldn't want either of us to hinder each other.
It doesn't bug me that it was "see you coming with me" because he knows that I would not follow him unless my own future happened to be in the same direction. I'm not planning on grad school, so he wouldn't be following me either (nor would I let him.) & No, I don't do long distance.
You have to use math when talking about how long you guys will be together? :) It was kind of funny, (I don't know if that's okay to say) and confusing. (To me anyway with all the math :P ) It sounds like it was a very mature conversation. Your probably laughing at this comment aren't you? :)
