I am bummer. My wife tried on the size 16 pants I bought her and they were too big. Now, they fit really snug in the thighs, hips, and butt, however the waist gaped open in the back, especially when she sat down. I think it was mostly the brand's cut. Note to self, don't buy that brand again. I do think the 16's are here (to stay hopefully) ( Read more... )

When my girlfriend moved up to size 16 this past summer , she had the same problem . After she tried on other brands , they fit a lot better .( I think she has gone up four pants sizes , in the past two years ). She kept stuffing herself into her old clothes for a long time , then she could not take it anymore and told me to go shopping with her . She tried on a lot of pants and tops and was reluctant to move up to the larger sizes . I told her how much better she looked in her new clothes , and she was thrilled . Now her pants are not snug any more and she has room to grow . I guess that is why she has been , eating everything in sight for the past five days . I have a feeling she is enjoying the holiday season . GOOD luck BM
