Ah yes.... I love the snow while it's still white and fresh.... but mostly I live in fear and dread of MUD SEASON!!! So yea.... I vote for keep the snow awhile.

What a perfectly darling house... I love-love a little picket fence...

One of the few advantages to living in the village...not dealing with mud season! I wanted that picket fence for 14 years, I'm finally getting to enjoy it.

Thanks, although I often wish it was transplanted to the country, I am pretty happy with it.

Well, if I had the Lake district to walk around like your pictures, I would be delighted. But I've found it's easier to be happy when you try to love what you already have...

That's a marvellously positive attitude and I applaud you for it! If I was stuck in snow like that, I'd be whining and girning and bewailing my distress to the weather gods!

I read that you waited 14 years to enjoy your picket fence- sounds like my life! Ah but good things are worth waiting for. I adore your house, it looks like you have some sort of climbing roses? Very picturesque! Although I love my little squashed victorian house with a party wall and smack against an office building I do crave more space just like this! So how old is your house?
