third grade & thanks for the recommendation ..I did a quick wikipedia search and found this:

"In the late 1960s, Parsons became enamored with Joshua Tree National Monument. Alone or with friends, he would disappear in the desert for days, searching for UFOs while under the influence of psilocybin or LSD."

I don't know why, but that's good enough for me.

I think I just like the idea of someone disappearing into the desert for days, especially when that person is 'enamored' with something. ...what the says about me, I don't know.

Hm, I don't think I was a champion of anything in third grade. In that year, I became good friends with a girl who had a pet husky and slept on a waterbed. I also had miniature toy kittens in my desk that I moved around when my teacher, Mrs. Brickhouse, wasn't looking.

Do you listen to music on yr computer? If so, Last.fm is a great site for this. My page is here. Also, http://tour.bs is a great resource. (My name is the same there.)

Sorry, I'm typing with one hand 'cause I painted the nails on my left hand. :-) I'm always glad to hear updates on yr life, though. I'vr always loved that you also like Against Me!, as well. (Just an aside.)

I'd recommend any music by Polyphonic Spree... lately, I've been listening to Bruce Springsteen's "Seeger Sessions"
