I have removed myself from Facebook. I just do not like the application, I just find it an irritant - it's not for me.

Everyone who wants to contact me - you know where I am and what to do.

Okay ... I'm still here and there and twitter and a billion other places that largely connect back to my website :)

But I fully understand the leaving ... I'm barely there these days myself

I got an account 'cause everyone seemed to have one and the family are heavily into it. I must say, I did get to see what the cousins and friends were up to and far flung relatives as well. What really irritates me is that the conversations aren't meaningful - I like really getting to know someone. The "359 people liked this" is really stupid and says nothing. The amount of comment space available is also very frustrating. I think that I am way-too-intense for Facebook.
