Well, it's been a while. I've most been laid up with a bunch of work-stuff, as well as sorting out details for my forthcoming trip to the UK, Denmark and the US.

Happy, safe travels! Cedar Tavern at University Place and 11th Street in NYC has tasty food and beer and a bit of an artsy history.

I was wondering where you were headed - sounds like a wonderful trip! It's really too bad that Vanessa can't go with you. Safe travels and have a fantastic time. I'm looking forward to reading about it.

We are still really keen to get together for a music night, once you get back, and Scott and Kiku get back, but before we move (19/11). Not to mention just general catching up.

Four days is long enough for me to do some record shopping and catch up with half a dozen friends. Much as London certainly isn't my favourite city, I think you and I might have slightly different feelings towards cities. (Basically, I hate the country.) Sorry we can't catch up this time, but hopefully next time, or if you and Sarah ever feel like a trip to NZ.
