Funny. It was a similar reaction that Kamui would have. Sometimes, Fuuma had to wonder just how Kamui dealt with so many emotions coming at him so quickly. Perhaps it was some innate ability that he had had since birth... It seemed shared in this boy and Kamui, however.
Something strange was taking place just before his eyes. He couldn't quite place his finger on it.
"My kind, hmn?" he echoed, chuckling once more. This boy was interesting - and not merely because he looked a great deal like Kamui. "And would you clarify what you mean by 'my kind'?"
"My world's Fuuma is an idiot." Even though he HAD tricked him a couple of times, resulting in the larger man getting a little too close for comfort to the vampire. This Fuuma didn't have to know that, though. "I'm sure you're no different. Not to mention you're obviously human." Which meant Kamui mostly saw him as food. Kinda.
"Human, hmn?" he responded, still dwelling on the other's words. "My world's Fuuma...." So, from another world. If such was the case, then it was an alternate universe. Another Kamui...? Cute, really. But how similar were they, really? Now he wanted to find out.
Fuuma again looked over the figure - more sinewy, perhaps, and taller, but still it was familiar in its basic structure. "And so you must be Kamui," he continued, leaning back a touch. It was surprisingly comfortable in the tree. But he would be down soon enough.
An annoyed flat look was given to the other. "As I said, an idiot." He kept his arms crossed, hips tilting to shift his weight more to one leg. "Considering you already called me that. I assume your world has a version of myself as well?" He usually didn't speak this much, much more preferring to ignore others, but he had to admit this piqued his interest. Not to mention he needed to know how this one acted and worked, so he could keep him away from Subaru.
"Perhaps so," he replied. Fuuma suddenly jumped down from the branch, landing right in front of this Kamui... strangely similar, and yet different. But just how different, he wondered. There were ways of finding out. And as he took a step closer to the other, he had already come up with the perfect plan in action.
"But why ask me?" Fuuma smiled wider, looking right at this Kamui with a gentle sort of stare - now he wondered if, perhaps, this Kamui would see his Fuuma...?
