The bakery was, oddly enough, a welcoming ort of place to visit, really. Perhaps it was the smell... Seishirou took in a deep breath for the umpteenth time and smiled gently. A warm sort of smell with that tinge of cinnamon in the air. It really made his sweet tooth go crazy - probably, he suspected, just the aim the bakery owner had in mind. The tea he had been served, the kind service he had received, the cosy atmosphere... really, he found it just shy of being a little too much
( ... )
Subaru smiled calmly, a little nervous as well, as Seishirou called him out. He bowed his head slightly.
"H-Hello, Seishirou-san. I hope you haven't been waiting long... I got a little lost on my way here," he stated, stepping towards the table the other was at and sitting down. He glanced around. "This place is really... cozy..." he said, almost a little weirded out by how homey and cozy the little, warm, sweet-smelling bakery was. He couldn't help but feel a little wary. He was sure Hokuto-chan had subjected him to a horror movie like this once.
"Yes, it's very nice here," Seishirou replied, gesturing then to the food in front of Subaru. "As is the food. You should try it, Subaru-kun." His smile brightened as he again took a sip of the tea in front of him. Strong, slightly sweetened green tea had always been one of his favourites, even though it really was a little improper. Green tea as dark a hue as those eyes. The eyes of his prey. The thought made him smirk while his mouth was hidden behind the tea cup.
Once he set the cup down, he took a long look at Subaru. So, Aizen-san had had a chat with the boy. "I believe that you will find him more... amenable... to your charms now...." So he had said. Now Seishirou was curious about that. "But you've no need to worry about me waiting too long. I have all the patience in the world for you," he continued in a reassuring tone.
Subaru looked to the food, then up at Seishirou and smiled. "Yes, it looks very good," he replied, picking up the eclair and taking a bite. It also tasted very very good as well. He set it down, taking a sip of his own tea, blissfully unaware of the other's observations of it and himself. "This is all very nice... thank you for inviting me. I-I admit, I was getting a little lonely."
He blushed, lightly, glancing over his tea. "Still, I still feel the need to apologize about it. I hope I can make up for it," he said, with a guilty expression as he took another sip of his tea.
