+ When: 8th July, afternoon
+ Where: A random street
+ Who: Edward Elric full_soul_elric and Alphonse Elric cosplayprince
+ Summary: Ed's looking for Al in this new world, because he guesses well, surely Al must be around here somewhere. Hopefully. He's a lucky boi today!

Edward (17:50:53): "Alphonse!?" Ed had been yelling his younger brother's name intermittently for quite a while now, still at a loss as to where he was exactly. Someone had mentioned that they controlled this world, but that was ridiculous, being able to control a world? He was quite sure he hadn't walked through any gates, in fact he'd just woken up to find himself here. "Aaaaal?" He yelled again, turning into a new street, only to spot a flash of red further along the road. A wide grin spread across his lips, and he paused, waving his arms above his head. "ALPHONSE!"

Alphonse (17:56:23): Al jumped and looked around in a confusion. He heard his name, but he wasn't sure about the voice. It seemed familiar, somehow, but he never remembered it sounding like that. He turned and blinked, seeing a blonde, much like himself, waving his arms in hysterics and yelling his name. After a moment of shock, his mouth grew into a bright smile. "Big Brother?! Really?!" he said, turning around and not sure what to do with himself but stay still and grin broadly.
Edward (17:59:49): Edward only grinned widely when Al turned to look round at him, able to see the broad grin a little like his own. It was when he figured Alphonse was just going to stay still that he broke into a run, he wasn't sure where he was, who had brought him here, or whether he would be able to get back 'home' but it didn't matter if Al was here with him. Nothing else mattered as far as he was concerned, and not only that - but he was back to 'normal'. He paused for a moment as he got closer to his brother, assessing the height difference between the two of them... He cared not to mention it at all, and instead took another step towards him, folding his arms around Al in a protective hold. "You got your body back..." he muttered.
Alphonse (18:15:06): Al put a foot back, bracing himself, a little afraid that Ed was about to take a running dive at him like Rose's children tended to. He was used to being tackled by now. He was relieved of this threat as Ed slowed his running down, and even stopped a little bit away. He was buzzing with excitement to see him. The trip to Liore was completely pointless to worry about now, his search was over. He'd finally found him. Of course, he was a little taken back by the embrace, but eagerly returned it with a warm embarce in turn. "Back?" he questioned a little. That was right... he remembered Winry mentioning something about that once when she thought he wasn't listening.
Edward (18:17:58): Ed couldn't help it when he body began to go limp in his brother embrace, but he had to keep up his appearances, no matter how much he felt like his eyes were burning with the need to let tears be shed, he had to let them be. It did help that Al was apparently confused by his sentence, and then he realised that perhaps Al looked a little younger than 17...

"Yes... Back... You were..." His arms fell from around his brother and he frowned slightly. "You don't remember?" He asked faintly, his face dropping suddenly. "Don't you remember what happened?"
Alphonse (18:26:06): Al felt a little worried when Ed seemed to get weak in the knees, and held him tighter and closer to support him. "Are you okay, brother?" he asked, blinking and frowning a little.

"... Winry told me that I did. The last thing I could recall when I woke up was that day in the attic. I always wanted to remember... but they were trying to protect me, I think, by never telling me," he replied, biting his lip a little, afraid he'd just made his brother hate him after being away so long. "I-I-I'm sorry..." he stuttered out with a strain in his voice as he swallow a lump of nervous energy in his throat.
Edward (18:30:38): Ed stared at Al as he spoke, riveted by his words. So, he didn't remember anything after that... he let out a deep sigh, turning his head away slightly to shield his face from Al's eyes.

"Don't be sorry." He whispered, looking back up at his brother before smiling and lifting his hand to ruffle his hair gently. "We ought to look for somewhere to say... I saw someone mention that they just took one of these houses as their own." He explained, averting his attention to the houses around him. That's what they needed to do. Find somewhere to live and eat and sleep. "What about that one?" He asked, hoping that his behaviour had been forgotten about suddenly.
Alphonse (18:40:24): Al held on a little tighter to the back of Ed's shirt, besting his face in his older brother's shoulder. He felt bad, not remembering those years that apparently weighed a lot on Ed's mind. He swallowed and didn't lift his head. Ed's shoulder was dark, warm and comfortable to hide in. He just wanted to savor this discovery right now, not worry about the little things.

"Yeah... I woke up in some house before I went to try to find people I saw were here from the ... computer thing that was turned on. They don't know why we're here either." He looked to where he felt Ed's shoulder shift to point to, blinking. "They all look the same, so any one is fine for me, really," he laughed a little, "I've been traveling a lot, any roof over my head is good."
Edward (18:44:46): His arms were back round Al after only a few moments at his sides, he had forgotten when it had felt to hold onto him at all, to see him, to see his smile. Although he wasn't smiling right now. That was a shame. He didn't want to see this clingy much longer. It only reminded him of the years he'd wanted to be able to cling onto him, which proved difficult with Al being a suit of armour... One hand lifted to press against Al's back, easing him in closer. "Mn, well I'll just choose one then?" he offered, letting his head fall to rest gently against his brothers, easing him in closer still. "A roof over both of our heads will be wonderful... we haven't had a home in years..." He sighed again, this was going to be difficult. Why didn't Alphonse remember?
Alphonse (18:59:13): Al was relieved to be embraced again, to be pulled closer. It meant he didn't ruin their reunion by not remembering. Maybe Ed would tell him what occured. Not now, but later, when they had time to settle and really talk. He smiled brightly to himself and nodded. "Okay, brother," he replied in a cheery tone, now. "Yeah, not a permanent home. It'll be nice," he replied, thinking living with his brother wouldn't make this place so bad to be, no matter what everyone said.
Edward (19:03:20): Ed couldn't help but tip his cheek to press against his brothers after he spoke, letting a hand drop to catch a hold of Al's hand, letting his other hand fall away as he stepped back, ensuring that he had a tight grasp of Alphonse's hand before he pulled him in the direction he had run to Al in, one arm lifted, pointing to one of the very similar looking houses. "That one." He decided suddenly, looking back at Al to see what he thought.

"Ah, can you still use Alchemy?" He asked vaguely, not letting go of his brother's hand as he looked at his own automail one, realising he would probably be without it for a while. He'd need to find someone to fix that wouldn't he? It was still weak, in the early stages of development. "We could transmute it to make it memorable..."

Alphonse (19:36:13): Al turned a little red, chuckling a little and holding Ed's hand tightly. He was glad to. He followed along after the tug and examined the house. As he thought, it looked like all the others. "Seems fine to me!" he replied, grinning.

"Ah... haha... I haven't... actually.. tried yet," he said with a nervous smile. He hadn't really thought on it. "But we can try it out together?" he pointed out in a positive action.
Edward (19:40:08): He glanced back, noticing the slight redness in his brother's cheek as they stopped to examine the house of his choice. He frowned only slightly, letting go of Al's hand and lifting his own hands upturned in front of him. It had been a long time since he'd managed something, even though he tended to attempt it at least once a day - even though he knew in the back of his mind it wouldn't work.

"Alright then." He said, pointing down to the floor. "We'll use the concrete. Just... see if we can make something?" He asked, kneeling down on one knee. "Ready?"
Alphonse (19:55:19): Al was used to using alchemy on a near-daily basis. He liked to help people with it, and he just plain liked to experiment with it. Especially with his special little soul-piecing ability. He knelt down as well, gripping and ungripping his fists in an eager movement. "Ready!"
Edward (19:58:07): He looked up, frowning slightly at his younger brother. Wasn't he going to draw a circle for this? He felt a little sick, at the thought of what it would mean if he managed it without the use of a circle. Closing his eyes, he clapped his hands together gently, just as he had done almost every morning since passing through the gate. His hands then met with the floor, and he thought about what he intended to make out of his attempt. He couldn't help but be shocked when his eyes opened, and between his downplaced hands stood a small figurine in the shape of his brother. He coughed slightly, and fell back to sit where he was on the floor, staring at the figurine in his hands. "Wow."
Alphonse (20:07:02): Al blinked as he noted his brother looking at him. He jumped a little in realization and showed him the transmutation circles on the palms of his gloves as a reassurance. He clapped his hands together at the same time, and was not surprised as the crackling light twisted and morphed the cement into the form of a house similar to the one they'd grown up in. "Haha! It does work here!"
Edward (20:10:01): Ed only sighed a breath of relief at the circles on his brother's gloves. He was possibly even smarter than he... perhaps. What he hadn't expected though, was for Al to transmute the whole of their house. His eyes grew wide as he took in the new look of their 'house' which was now apparently their 'home'. He laughed softly, before drawing his knees in closer to him, resting his elbows on his knees, and letting the small cement figure drop to the floor between his legs, head dropping slightly.

"I haven't been able to do alchemy since I went through the gate..." He muttered quietly, lifting his hand to rub his forehead gently. "The last time... was to give you your body back..." He whispered, both hands moving to his forehead to support it.

Alphonse (20:16:08): Al looked at him in concern, biting his lip a little. "Brother...?" he questioned softly. He scooted closer and with a little caution, he wrapped his arms around his older brtoher's shoulders and pulled him close. "Thank you, big brother," he stated with a gentle smile, glad to hold him close and comfort him. "It must have been hard... to be away..."
Edward (20:20:16): He barely moved when Al scooted closer, only enough so that he could accomodate the boy, his arms still propped on his knees, just resting either side of Al. He couldn't help but let his forehead fall to rest on top of Alphonse's shoulder. Although he was aware that being this close to his brother was probably wrong, he couldn't help but want him to be closer, even closer than this. "Did... they tell you... that you were a suit of armour?" He asked quietly, feeling the need suddenly to close his arms around his brother in another embrace. "I'd do it all again, Al... without a doubt."
Alphonse (20:26:04): It felt right to be holding his brother again. It felt like it had been ages, decades, instead of a few years. He couldn't help but stroke his older brother's head and smile contentedly the whole time. He shook his head. "I... I mean people I met, who we knew then, they'd slip up and make mentions but they never really sat me down and told me before," he replied, before he sighed and nodded. "I'm just glad... we're together again, brother."
Edward (20:31:12): The feel of Al's hand stroking his head had to be the most pleasing sensation he'd felt in a long time. It was so different to when Al had been a suit of armour... to be able to feel the warmth, how real it was, and something else he couldn't place. "I can tell you everything sometime if you like...?" He asked, lifting his head from it's drooped position to flash a smile, nodding once more. "I think I can finally say I'm 'home'." He muttered, moving one of his legs to help himself to his feet. Of course, the only thing that had been anything like a home to him after their mother died, had been anywhere Al was. "We should go in."
Alphonse (20:56:53): Al pulled off one of his gloves and kept stroking Ed's hair, wanting a real feel of it. He was relaxed. He didn't feel so full of nervous energy like he usually did. He always had little insecurities as he searched, in place of his lack of doubt in Ed being alive. "I'd like that, I'd really like to hear," he said, "Maybe I'll remember on my own, too, if you tell me," he said, a little over-optimistic sounding. He could only smile at that, letting his brother go so he could stand. He stood up himself and nodded. "Yeah, we should!"
Edward (21:00:26): He sighed softly into the touch of his brother, almost wishing he hadn't chosen to stand up so soon. They were sat outside in the view of everyone though - although, just why that would bother him he wasn't sure. He gulped at the thought of the meaning behind his own thoughts, before shaking his head as he stood. Reaching out a hand to help Al up to his feet too. "Let's have a look around our new house... we might have to go and buy some books. I wonder if they have any on alchemy...?" He asked dubiously, smiling at Al all the same. Being back with him, hadn't quite sunk in just yet.
Alphonse (21:13:08): Al slipped his glove back on, finding it awkward to have one on and the other off. He took Ed's hand gladly and lifted himself up with the other as a brace. "Okay," he remarked, a little glad to have a permanent home here. "Maybe! I mean, if it works here, why wouldn't they?" he pointed out, before getting a sly little grin. "I wonder if they have a pet shop too," he said, a little more to himself, but in a tone as if he were suggesting it.
Edward (21:15:52): His gaze was on Al, a semi-permanent smile fixed on his lips. He didn't let go of Al's hand for long time after it was needed, and all he did in response was to nod at the prospect of finding books on Alchemy here. Where ever it was they were, it didn't matter what they did. They were together again, and to be honest, he didn't care about regaining his arm and leg - so long as he managed to find an automail mechanic who would be able to make reliable limbs for him. Perhaps this was the paradise the both of them had been unknowingly longing for. "What kind of pet do you want, Alphonse?" He asked softly, turning to look up at their new home, before walking towards it, automail hand finding it's way into his pocket.
Alphonse (21:47:15): Al didn't seem to notice the eyes remaining on him, holding Ed's hand tight and getting a little excited at the idea of studying alchemy with his brother again. It would be just like old times, back in their real home. He felt a little silly to dwell on old memories, but he couldn't help it. They were nice times. He couldn't help but laugh at the question, as the answer was obvious. "A kitten, of course, big brother," he said with a bright smile. It was something they'd both wanted since they were young, though Ed had wound up concealing it eventually. He could tell.
Edward (21:51:39): He couldn't help but laugh at Al's choice of pet. It was of course the perfect kind for them. He knew Al liked them, the number of times he'd picked them up from the street. The thought made him laugh, and as he arrived at the door of their new home he turned to lean against it, laughing softly. "Ah, so long as you don't hide it in your... Ah Nevermind." He sighed, knowing that he was merely glad that he and Al were together again. It didn't matter if he had no memories of their experiences together at the moment. Somehow, they would get those back. He promised himself. Turning back to the door, he turned the handle, surprised that the door opened automatically. He didn't think Al would have transmuted the inside to look like home too... "Al..." He whispered, turning back round to look at his brother with a shocked look on his face "Did you do this?"
Alphonse (22:06:35): Al blinked, tilting his head to the side and laughing a little, taking his own interpretation. "I won't sneak any in under my hood, I promise," he said, waving his hand in a brushing-off motion. He flushed a little as they entered the home and Ed seemed very much in shock.

"Ah... heheh... I-I guess I did..." he replied, biting his lower lip, not really realizing he had done it at all. It must have been a subconcious wish of his. :Sorry."
Edward (22:09:55): He shook his head quickly. He hated seeing that unsure look on his brother's face. He'd make it go away, and then it would just be him and Al. That's all that mattered in the world after all. Once they settled down, he'd tell Al all about the years he'd forgotten, he'd explain everything, and then it would just be him and Al here in this world. Then he'd show him... he wasn't quite sure what he was thinking, but the thought was immediately extingushed the minute he walked further into their home. "Are you hungry? I think we'll need to buy some food." He explained, walking further into their home to where the kitchen would be. "Someone said they found a car in the garage... should we look? I used to drive Alfons around all the time..."
Alphonse (22:31:19): Al smiled, still a little uneasy, wondering if he'd done something wrong. He noted their hands were still locked together and squeezed Ed's lightly for some reassurance. "Well, a little. I haven't really had anything to eat since I got here," he laughed some, "I got a little, uh... lost," he admitted. He blinked. "Alfons?"
Edward (22:34:34): He spun round once they'd entered the kitchen, and Al's voice filled the room. He still kept a hold of Al's hand, securely in his own. It was as if it felt completely natural, even though they hadn't been able to actually hold hands in so long. He actually felt guilty for bringing Alfons up at all. "Ah... When I passed through the gate, I made friends with someone called Alfons, that's all..." His bottom lip was quickly between his teeth and he bit gently. "Say, let's get something to eat, and then take a drive?" He suggested, tipping his head. There were suddenly lots of things he wanted to ask Al... He needed to forget about them... Now wasn't the time.

Alphonse (6:28:19 AM): Al even took to swaying their hands lightly, in a playful motion, smiling with a self-satisfaction. "O-Oh!" he said, though something about his brother being friends with someone nwith his name turned wrong in his stomach. He didn't know why. He looked around the room a little in an absent gesture and nodded. "Alright, brother."

Edward (6:32:18 AM): He stared down at their swaying hands with a half-smile. As weird as it could have seemed at 17 years of age, he wasn't really that bothered by the fact that he was holding hands with his younger brother. The thoughts made him pause in his actions for a while though. Al was wearing gloves, and his coat - did he have a memory of doing that? "Did you... join the military or something?" He asked quietly, stepping back a few paces to meet with the counter, his joined hands causing Al to need to step towards him slowly.

Alphonse (6:40:05 AM): Al stumbled forward a little and shook his head. "No.. no... I didn't at all," he said, "I wanted to... I thought it might help, but Pinako and Winry wouldn't let me. Neither would Teacher..." he said, licking his lips a little, not liking to mention Izumi now that she'd passed on. "So I didn't, I went on my own. There was still money.. I made sure there was enough left, so when you got home..." he smiled a little less and hunched his shoulders, "We could get a house together, and we could live like I remember... but I used to others to buy food and stuff when I was traveling... and to travel at all."

Edward (6:44:49 AM): Ed's eyes closed, and a soft sigh escaped him before he let go of Al's hand, pulling him into a hug that had his arms wrapped around the small of his back, uncaring of the fact that he had pulled him flush against his own body. "I'm glad you listened to them." He said simply, allowing his forehead to drop to rest on Al's shoulder. It wasn't often that he felt like this, but after being re-united with his sibling, and discovering he was still very much alive, full of life, and no longer a suit of armour was probably just too much for him to take in right now. He'd completely forgotten that anyone had mentioned food too - which was a little unusual. "You did great."

Alphonse (7:05:52 AM): Al looked a little surprised as he suddenly found himself being held. He smiled and relaxed though, face a little pink, but resting comfortably against Ed. His arms were trapped, he couldn't do much else. He looked more happy to hear that Ed was glad with his decision. They said he would be. "Big brother..." he said softly, before gently nuzzling his cheek against Ed's shoulder and looking so happy about being commended. Nothing meant more than Ed's approval.

Edward (7:10:54 AM): He reluctantly let go after a minute or so of just holding onto Al. Smiling genuinely. It was weird to know that even though he wasn't there with Al in that other world, or course everyone around him would be talking about him. He wondered what stories they -had- told Al, what things that had shared with him. He shook the thought from his mind, before grabbing Al's hand again with a swift 'Let's go' and speeding off in the general direction of where he presumed their 'garage' would be. Perhaps they could find an easy place to get food from. He was never much good at cooking.
