i totally kno what you mean about relationships showing you things about yourself. i've had other b/f's but not seriously, and now with chris- i dont even kno if i am the same person i was in september when it all started. chris has never had a g/f, so we are both learning how to have a real relationship together and its hard. but its awesome.
