If you're like me, you enjoy reading favorite old fanfics at Christmas. In my busiest fanfic writing days, I delighted in putting Severus and Hermione into situations at Christmas and plotting the tale with SubHub. In fact, he brought a new plot bunny to me Thursday for an SSHG Christmas story, and I actually sat down at work and wrote 500 or so

As the Master of Enchantment is my go-to series for any time of the year re-reading or listening to Send Not To Know is as much of a Christmas ritual as watching Love Actually and Nightmare Before Christmas.

I read "holiday nummies and beverages" as "holiday mummies and beverages". For one crazy second there, I was hopeful that Christmas was now being celebrated with mummies and zombies instead of reindeer and elves. Ah, well....

Far be it for me to say what you may and may not do in your quest to celebrate the holidays! I am sure there are those who would abundantly prefer mummies and zombies to what they actually *do* have to endure at Christmas.
