I love Brandon. However, I think my favourite Rickman portrayal is a split decision between Alex in Snowcake and Jamie in Truly, Madly, Deeply.

That second .gif - he is so worried and wants to check on her, but so afraid she will spurn him. So much emotion in such a small amount of time.

Beautiful pictures.

He used his face so well. That sounds weird, but a lot of actors don't engage their expressions to the extent he did. His eyes alone could tell so much. He gave every character such a depth of feeling, and always always made eye contact, really really listening to the other players.
