VENTUS • KINGDOM HEARTS •
Vanitas' relationship with Ventus... where to even start? Having once been part of the same heart, Ventus is the light to Vanitas' darkness. He still harbors a fair share of resentment over the splitting of their heart all those years ago, but now that he has no powers here? He can't do anything about it. Perhaps it's the heart he's carrying in him, but Vanitas finds himself still keeping an eye on his lighter half a good portion of the time he's not training or re-building his 'home base' in the burned tower basement.
Ventus also needs to not get hit by rocks and suffer head trauma. Re-teaching him how to use a keyblade is a pain in the butt. Also, hit by rocks scared the crap out of him >(
AQUA • KINGDOM HEARTS •
Aqua is Ventus' older sister figure, mother figure... therefore, Vanitas hates her. He can feel Ven's affection for Terra, so he can feel Ven's affection for Aqua, and it just disgusts him. This is his second most hated person, and he just refuses to ever find anything to respect about her, other than that she can actually put up somewhat of a fight. Ugh.

SORA • KINGDOM HEARTS •
The runt he shares a face with. No, he does not like Sora in the least bit. Get out, go die in a fire, just hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. This is his most hated person, and he will rarely hesitate to provoke the boy into a fight, simply so he can say he started it when he beats the shit out of him.
Honestly, Vanitas still finds nothing he likes about Sora :| He'd still provoke a fight if he was in the mood, but otherwise? Sarcasm and bitching.
KAIRI • KINGDOM HEARTS •
A Princess of Heart. Vanitas doesn't quite... know what to make of her. Her light makes him respond in a more civil manner, but it's only because the light reminds him of Ventus. He can't say he dislikes her, since she hasn't done anything that has irritated him, but he's not exactly going to go out of his way for her. He has sent his Swablu to her once when she hurt herself by helping a Pokemon, but Vanitas would deny it up and down.
She's been gone for a while now.
ROXAS • KINGDOM HEARTS •
The look-a-like of Ventus. The good part is, he is not Ventus. Vanitas would say Roxas reminds him more like himself when he has the advantage on possessing Ventus. The face and the somewhat negative demeanor all make him ultra curious; Vanitas does sense some type of connection though, and really? He'd like to beat it out of the blond until he understands it all. Vanitas is curious if anything.
Except lately, Roxas has been pissing him off and getting in the way of 'training' Dartanian. Git lost, boy 8|
RISE KUJIKAWA • PERSONA 4 •
That girl who won't listen to him. Vanitas does not like Rise at all, and it's purely because she's fond of Ventus. She's loud and gets in his way he just does not like her at all. Her closeness to Ventus just bothers him and he honestly can't say why.
Bonus for him is that when Ventus got hit by rocks, he forgot about her. Vanitas is fist-pumping to the extreme because he's just an ass like that.
MERLIN • MERLIN (BBC) •
Merlin is certainly interesting. He actually spoke with Vanitas, and made some kind of effort to understand why he does things the way he does. It's something he... appreciates, really really really really deep down inside. Merlin also helped Vanitas out when he chopped off large chunks of his hair, showing him how to style it differently and thus his current hairdo; courtesy of Merlin. He even offered to help him find his helmet, which is still somewhere in the Ilex Forest.
KNEESOCKS DAEMON • PaSwG •
Don't think he's forgotten that bout of kidnapping you did, Kneesocks. He's going to find you, and when he does? It won't be pretty. Bonus stomps in the ribs will be for using Ventus against him.
HEATHER MASON • SILENT HILL •
Since his arrival, Vanitas has not honestly, truly found anything humorous. And then Heather appeared and said something that tickled his funny bone and had him laughing like a hyena. Thus, the strangest... civil conversations were born. She does say quite a few things he has never expected to hear, (blame the Disney part of his canon), and it's honestly the funniest thing ever to him. For the most part, they've only spoken a few times, but they've been riots in his experience. He actually doesn't mind talking with her, because of this.
Also, she taught him a BAD WORD! It earned some good lols.
ASUKA TENJOIN • YU-GI-OH •
Being one of the few to chastise him when he grouches at his Pokemon, he hasn't quite found... much in common with her. Aside from the Minuns they have. She has, however, been around to talk to, and it doesn't get too dull. Curious, at least.
He hasn't heard from her in a while.
FRANZISKA VON KARMA • ACE ATTORNEY •
He first met her when she was trying to take on the Blackthorn Gym Leader for her first badge. Vanitas? Had some lols because SRY FRANNIE, YOU'RE GETTIN YOUR BUTT WHIPPED. On discussing the badges he already had, she promptly claimed him as a battle rival and he was all sorts of genuinely pleased at this.
She's been gone a while.
BEATRICE (BEATO) USHIROMIYA • UMINEKO NO NAKU KORO NI •
Unsure of what to make of her, honestly. She's incredibly, physically weak and seems very naive with her surroundings in general. Vanitas has found she's quick to learn when it came to keeping herself from hypothermia with a few tips. He's been told about her 'purpose', as a vessel to contain someone; and it wound up with him telling her of his own 'purpose'. An interesting conversation was had, and he finds himself actively keeping an eye out for her posts to the network; it's not as though they've met face to face yet.
From more and more conversations, it's turned out that she genuinely sees him as a friend. He doesn't know what to make of it, but... it does make him somewhat pleased.
RIKU • KINGDOM HEARTS •
PFFFFFFFFFFT. Big talker with some big guns to back the words up with. And by guns, he means Pokemon, not physical strength. While he and Riku are usually at odds with each other, the darkness in the other is making Vanitas just plain laugh. He really doesn't see where he's heading, does he?
It's just like with Terra; that power hungry nature will sink him...
BEATRICE • UMINEKO NO NAKU KORO NI •
It never occurred to him until Beato said it, but she and Beato are quite similar in appearance. But only in appearance. Beatrice is a far cry away from the naive Beato, and it's somewhat refreshing to hear in a world full of overly Light-based people. He can sense a bit of darkness, but it hangs out in the playful end of the spectrum; he's yet to really see her angry. While discussing uh .. furniture, she offered him a new purpose.
She's been gone for a while now.
XION • KINGDOM HEARTS •
The look-a-like of the Princess. Kind of weak, he didn't think much of her in terms of a fighter, but he is curious that she apparently has a keyblade. After the confrontation in Goldenrod though, he's fairly pissed off at her and wants little to do with her now.
YUMI OZAWA • PERSONA 4 •
Mostly someone he texts with rather than speaking or physically being around, she is perhaps one of the most 'normal' people he knows. Her world is without magic or much in the ways of every day danger, and she actually has common sense. He can nod his head to that.
She disappeared while they were traveling through the Ilex Forest.
