When he does answer the question sitting on his Gear, Vanitas looks all sorts of displeased while sporting a large bruise on the left side of his face, along with a black eye. It's harder to see, but his right arm is nicely wrapped and casted and bundled under a blanket.]

... Yes. [He's angry, he's really angry, but stuck in a PokeCenter bed until the burns have at least been treated a few more times. So, bottling it up to take out later... is all he really knows how to deal with this kind of emotion.]

[Which is why Heather's eyes are legitimately wide when she responds. She's concerned, sure, but the sight of that dragon belching flames and the sound of it flinging its trainer around like a ragdoll hit her on a few levels that are entirely personal.]
