[definitely enjoying the sunshine, Hiei's sprawled out in a patch of it that's shining on the bed he shares with Kurama. curled up on his chest are twin Bengal kittens that he acquired at the local pet shop, courtesy of a certain firestarter. he's been quite busy with the wee ones since Kurama's been off playing with his damned plants - again]

[cracks open a crimson eye, a crooked grin gracing his lips as he spots Axel]

Couldn't help myself. I guess pets aren't so bad after all.

If they become too much trouble, I can always have Kurama watch them.

[which really translated to: "I got sick of going into town and swiping books from the library."]

So the obvious alternative is to adopt kittens. [chuckles]
