The internet according to Waldorf and Statler

I love the Muppets, and Waldorf and  Statler were always my favourite.  They're back as good as ever and they're on the net, still dishing out cutting edge humour with a razor sharp edge of truth.

Those two were a great source of amusement in my house when I was growing up. The Muppet Show was the one thing ALL of us sat down together to watch.

*hugs*

I've never seen these two! Why yes, I do live in a cave. But. I'm very happy that crotchety old muppets are not left behind rather they will thrive.

Did you never see The Muppet Show? Oh... such a classic blend of variety and comedy :D These two were the hecklers who sat in the box seats.

I looked up the show on the Wiki to see when it aired and the timeframe was mid-seventies to early 80s which explains why I never watched it. I call this period, my lost years (we'll leave it at that). :) I knew of Miss Piggy, Kertmit, and even Gonzo, the Mah Na Mah Na song, and Jim Henson, but cannot remember ever watching an episode. I was surprised today to see that it was a British TV series and that it was not a children's program. If quizzed prior to today, I would have said The Muppet Show was an American kids program. Thanks to you and this post for my new knowledge!
